Couple held up in their own home

A GANG of up to four men armed with hammers and a gun have robbed a young couple at their home in Dunmurry.

The occupants, both in their 20’s, were left shocked but not injured as a result of their ordeal.

The men burst into the their home at Chestnut Park last Wednesday at 9pm demanding money and made off with a mobile phone and a sum of cash.

One of the intruders is described as being in his 50s, approximately 5ft 6in in height, with balding grey hair and is believed to have been armed with a hammer.

Another was in his early 30s, of medium to heavy build and is also believed to have been armed with a hammer.

A third man is described as being of heavy build and is thought to have been carrying a suspected firearm. The men are believed to have made off in a silver saloon car.
