Craig on gay marriage proposals
DUP MLA for Lagan Valley Jonathan Craig says he was proud to see the DUP party vote down proposals to introduce gay marriage in Northern Ireland.
Mr Craig said: “This was a clear attack on the moral fabric of our society in Northern Ireland and would have lead to the breakdown of the family structure that sits at the core of a stable society.
“Speaking as both a father and a committed Christian I find this clear attack on both family and those who hold to the traditional definition of marriage.””
