Congratulations to Mrs Kirk at Craigbrack Primary School, Craigbrack Road, Eglinton, for opening the first Code Club on the Eastbank of Londonderry this September.

The new club is part of a UK-wide drive to teach school children how to make computer games, animations and websites and is now part of the ‘Code Club’ network.

Code Club regional coordinator Una McDermott said: “Each term the students will progress and learn more whilst at the same time using their imaginations and making creative projects.
