Craigmore situation improving
'THINGS have improved significantly' - that was the message from Coleraine Council's Environment Health Director on the situation at Craigmore landfill site.
At Tuesday’s meeting of Coleraine Borough Council, Kieran Doherty reported to the chamber that he was satisfied that actions to rectify the smell coming from the site had moved on.
He said that there had been one further complaint about a recurrence of a smell of methane gas and that was under investigation.
However he added: “The situation has improved significantly.”
