Create the mascot for Lough Neagh

A competition has been launched to create the official Lough Neagh Horse God mascot.

The competition is designed to inspire creativity and bring the legend of Eochu to life.

It is open to all artists – professional and amateur, young and old – and closes on Friday, November 15 at noon.

The winner of the competition will be treated to a meal for two with wine at Gardiners in Magherafelt and the winning artist will see their mascot become a symbol of Lough Neagh to be showcased at events, on promotional material and on marketing communications.
