Creative industries workshop held in the Historic Quarter
LISBURN Centre Management facilitated a half day workshop recently looking at how the Historic Quarter of Lisburn can grow and develop its arts and creative industries.
The event, held at the R Space Gallery, Castle Street Lisburn, was attended by over 50 local artists, designers and entrepreneurs. Speakers included artist Inga Hamilton from FIRSTY Facebook Group, fashion designer and entrepreneur Christine James from Blick Studios, Belfast, and David McConnell from The Arts Council of Northern Ireland. The workshop included a tour of Market Square Artist Studios, as well as a brainstorming session. LCCM would like to thank all who attended and took part in the event.
