Crews tackle Rathlin blaze

Fire crews from all over Northern Ireland have brought a large gorse fire on Rathlin Island under control on Thursday.

Emergency services were called to respond to the blaze, which began after rubbish caught fire, that spanned more than a kilometre. Crews with equipment from Ballycastle, Ballymoney, Cushendall and Maghera made their way to the island on the Rathlin Ferry.
