Cricketers hosted by mayor

A civic reception was held on Friday to celebrate Carrickfergus Cricket Club’s haul of four trophies this season.

The Mayor, Alderman Charles Johnston, congratulated the Middle Road club on its achievements, which included the Section 1 title, T20 Trophy, RSA National Cup and Ulster Shield. He made a special presentation to club stalwart and former Ireland international Ryan Eagleson (pics next week).
