The Magistrates Court was told that police saw the defendant’s car swerving over the road and on one occasion she was seen driving on the wrong side of the road for a short period of time.

The court heard she also drove through a red light and also ignored police signals to stop.

Andrzekewska was spoken to outside her home and she claimed she had been drinking the night before and had a couple of beers to take the edge off her hangover.

A breath test showed a reading of 126mg of alcohol in 100ml of breath.

Deputy District Judge Sean O’Hare disqualified her from driving for 18 months and fined her a total of £450.
