'A miracle someone was not killed' say police after Tyrone crash

Mid Ulster police say it's a miracle a suspect drink driver did not kill someone at Clonoe in County Tyrone last night

They posted pictures of the crash scene on social media and said the driver was found to be more than twice the limit.

"The sad fact is that we know when we go out on patrol at least one if not multiple crews will be arresting a drink driver, whether its spotting and stopping one as is most often the case, or pulling one from wreckage at a scene like this," the post reads.

"The message continues to fall on far too many deaf ears, STOP DRINKING AND DRIVING.

"It's only a matter of time before we're picking up the bodies of innocent people killed by these drunks."
