Appeal after machinery stolen

POLICE are appealing for information following the theft of almost £9,000 worth of plant equipment from a property at the Lisnafiffy Road earlier this month.

At some point overnight between April 3 and 4 a 26-foot long trailer valued at £7,500 was stolen. It is described as a red “Herron” open-top tractor trailer. A grey JCB machinery bucket worth £1,000 and a blue trailer cover sheet worth £250 were also stolen.

Police said they are keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time or may have seen the tractor pulling the trailer on any of the surrounding roads. Officers can be contacted on 0845 600 8000.
