Appeal after man is discovered with injuries in a vehicle near Tyrone village

Detectives are appealing for information about the incident.

At around 10:20am, it was reported to police that a man was discovered in his vehicle at an address on Littlebridge Road and had sustained injuries, including to his head.

He was taken to hospital for treatment of his injuries, which are not believed to be life threatening at this time.

Detective Inspector Michael Winters said: "We are conducting enquiries as to how the man sustained his injuries, and would appeal to anyone who may have been in the area between 1am this morning and the time the report was made to us to call detectives on 101, quoting reference number 549 of 22/08/20."
