Appeal after report of sexual assault

Police investigating a report of sexual assault in Warren Gardens in Lisburn on 24th July, have this week issued an appeal for help.

At around 10.25pm a 15-year-old girl and a friend were sitting on a bench near the bowling green when they were approached by a male.

This male spoke briefly with the girls and when they went to leave he grabbed the 15-year-old.

She struggled and managed to break free of him and both girls then made off.

The male is described as in his early twenties, approximately 5’10” in height of slim build with blond hair and facial stubble.

He was wearing glasses with a silver/grey frame, a dark coloured baseball cap, a dark blue tracksuit top with a zip up the middle and dark coloured tracksuit bottoms.
