Appeal after stolen charity boxes found

Police have appealed for information after two charity boxes were stolen from a restaurant in Lurgan.

Police said they recovered the empty boxes in the Ulster St area of Lurgan after a report from the public.

Const. Gareth Gordon said: “The Lough Neagh Rescue and TACA charity boxes were found beside factory premises. It is believed they were stolen from a restaurant in William St. I would appeal to anyone who can help with our enquiries to ring the 101 number, quoting reference number 30610815. Or information about crime can be passed via the Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
