Appeal launched after Ballyclare ‘high speed pursuit’

Witnesses are being sought following a “high speed pursuit” in the Ballyclare area.

Detailing the incident, a PSNI spokesperson said: “Police are investigating a number of motoring offences following a high speed pursuit in the vicinity of Ballyclare.

“At approximately 7.42pm on Thursday, June 3, a BMW vehicle failed to stop for police on the Braepark Road, Ballyclare.

“Were you travelling on any of the following roads at that time, Braepark Road, Sawmill Road, Trenchill Road into Ballyeaston village towards Lower Ballyboley Road?

“Did you witness this incident? Do you have dash cam footage?

“If the answer to any of the above is yes, then Sgt Allen at Larne Police Station would like to hear from you. Please contact 101, quoting serial number 1942 03/06/2021. Alternatively, you can notify the charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
