Arrest after arson and vandalism incidents in NI town

A man has been arrested after a car was set alight at a home in an NI town.
Windows were also smashed at two properties in the Westland Road area of Portadown.

The PSNI received a reported shortly after 5.15am on Thursday July 16 that a car had been deliberately set on fire as well as windows broken in two homes.
Police also received a report of a small fire at Corcraine Avenue around 6.15am and are probing a possible link between all three incidents.
Police said: “A 30 year old man has been arrested on suspicion of a number of offences.” On Monday a spokesperson said the man had been released on police bail to return at a later date.
