Arrest follows stabbing incident

A MAN has been arrested in connection with a stabbing in Ballykelly during the early hours of Saturday morning, a police spokesperson has confirmed.

Police announced on Monday morning that they had arrested a 21-year-old man in connection with the stabbing, which took place at around 4.15am on Saturday morning.

The 34-year-old victim was stabbed in the thigh in the Roe Valley village after an altercation. He was taken to hospital for treatment, but his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
