Assault appeal
Police are appealing for information following a serious assault on a 43 year-old male on Thursday, November 15.
It is understood the male, who was conveyed to hospital after the incident, was attacked from behind as he was walking in the Fern Park area at around 7.30pm and was knocked unconscious. He was treated in hospital for a dislocated shoulder, broken ribs and injuries to his head. Police are keen to speak to three male teenagers who were seen in the area on a quad bike at the time.
Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed this attack or has any information to contact them at Strand Road station.
