ATO explode crude but viable device in leafy suburban Londonderry
Ammunition Technical Officers (ATO) carried out a controlled explosion on a crude but viable device in a leafy suburban part of Londonderry on Thursday (April 10).
The device was been taken away for further examination.
Police have asked anyone who may have noticed any suspicious activity in the Talbot Park area recently to contact them at Strand Road on the non-emergency number 101. Information can also be passed anonymously through the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
