Attempted murder: man in court

A man is due before Londonderry Magistrates Court this morning, Monday, following a stabbing incident in the city at the weekend.

He appeared before Londonderry Magistrates Court on Monday, July 21.

All charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.

The charges are in connection with a stabbing incident in a house in Summer Meadows Park in Londonderry shortly after 3am on Sunday 20 July. A 43-year-old man with a stab wound in his back was taken to hospital for treatment.
