Attempted to choke woman
A 19-year-old has appeared in court accused of attempting to choke a woman.
Nathan McDaid, whose address was given as Strand Road, was also charged with causing grievous bodily harm, making a threat to kill and false imprisonment. The charges relate to an alleged domestic incident on July 1.
McDaid was released on bail and banned from contacting the alleged injured party. He is also banned from entering the Westway area of Creggan.
He will appear in court again at a later date.
