Bail for man accused of assault charges
A 24-year-old man was returned for trial when he appeared at Londonderry Magistrates Court charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
In Court was Robert Steven Stone, of 6 Silverbirch Crescent, who is accused of causing grievous bodily harm to Jordan Simpson on April 19, 2011, and on the same date, assaulting Matthew Hayes, occasioning actual bodily harm.
Asked if he wanted to say anything in answer to the charges or call witnesses or tender written statements in answer to the charges, Stone replied “not at this stage”.
He was returned to the Crown Court in Londonderry for arraignment on April 10, on his own bail of £500, with a bail address of 49 Rosedale in the Waterside.
