BALLYSALLY SHOOTING: Police appeal

Police received a report of shots fired in Glenvara Drive, Coleraine in the early hours of Thursday morning.

Chief Inspector Nicky Thompson said: “The incident was reported at around 2:30pm and police quickly attended the scene. The window of the house was smashed but no one was injured as a result. The shots are thought to have been fired close to the home of a man in his sixties.

“We are continuing to investigate the matter and would ask that anyone who has any information contact police on the non-emergency number 101. Or, you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
