Banned for 12 months
A Lurgan man was banned from driving for 12 months last Friday at Craigavon Magistrates Court for an excess alcohol offence.
Thirty eight year old Ian John McCartney, Russell Drive, Lurgan, was also fined £300 and ordered to pay a £15 offender’s levy.
On completion of a course for drink driving his ban would be reduced by three months.
The court heard he was stopped at 2.10am on June 23 when he was seen driving erratically in Church Place, Lurgan.
He had no previous convictions.
