Banned from driving

A 35 year old man was banned from driving for three and a half years last Friday at Craigavon Magistrates Court.

Joseph John Forker, Gilpinstown, Lurgan, was also fined £150 for driving with excess alcohol on April 24 and ordered to pay a £15 offender’s levy.

The court heard that he was stopped while driving in William Street.

A solicitor for the defendant said he had been in rehab and on medication but on this occasion he took the decision to drink again.

District Judge, Mr Alan White, said Forker had a previous relevant conviction within the ten year period and he was over twice the limit.
