Twenty eight year old William John Maguire, of Gilpin Park, Dollingstown, was also fined £200.

The court heard he was travelling at 66mph in a 30mph zone on March 17.

Maguire, who did not appear at court, had pleaded guilty by post but had not sent in his licence.
