Broughshane arrest after shooting incident

Detectives are appealing for information following a shooting incident in the Drumcrow Road area of Glenarm in the early hours of Saturday 28th April.

At around 2.15am it is believed that up to 4 shots were fired through the front window of a house in the area. Three people who were inside the house at the time were uninjured but left badly shaken. A 44 year old man was arrested a short time later in the Broughshane area on suspicion of attempted murder. He is currently in custody helping police with their enquiries.

This incident is not being treated as sectarian. The weapon used is believed to have been a shotgun.
