Burglaries
Detectives are appealing for information following two creeper burglaries in the Grangemore Park and Ard Grange areas during the early hours of Friday, November 30.
Shortly before 5am, entry was gained to a house at Grangemore Park via a rear door. The kitchen was ransacked and a set of car keys were stolen. It’s believed the thieves were disturbed before the car could be taken.
Sometime between 1.30am and 8am entry was gained to a house at Ard Grange via rear patio doors. The downstairs rooms were ransacked and a purse, camera and keys of a car and van were stolen. It is believed the culprits were disturbed as some of the stolen items were later recovered in the garden.
Police are asking anyone who may have noticed any suspicious activity in these areas or has any information to contact them.
