Burglary

Detectives are appealing for information following a burglary that occurred at a house on Victoria Road yesterday, Tuesday, July 10.

It is believed thieves broke into the house through an open window and stole a quantity of jewellery sometime between 8am and 4.30pm. The jewellery is of immense sentimental value to the owner.

The stolen items are distinctive and Police are appealing to anyone offered the items for sale in suspicious circumstances to report it to Police.

The jewellery stolen included a gold wedding band, a gold engagement ring with a solitaire diamond in the shape of the Star of David, surrounded by platinum, a gold eternity ring lined with emeralds and diamonds and a gold ring with a blue Topaz stone.

Anyone who noticed any suspicious activity on Victoria Road yesterday is asked to contact Detectives
