Burglary at Logan’s Fashions

POLICE in Ballymoney are appealing for assistance from the public following a burglary at Logans Fashions sometime between Monday and Tuesday of last week.

It is understood that entry was gained to the building via a rear door.

Police say that a number of items were taken as well as an unspecified amount of cash.

Any information in relation to suspicious activity would be welcomed by the police.

Dunloy burglary

A domestic burglary occurred in the Dunloy area on Wednesday of last week.

Police believe that entry was gained to the house by a downstairs window.

Items of jewellery were taken from the occupant’s bedroom.

Mobile phone stolen

THE home of an elderly man in the Dunloy area was broken into on Thursday of last week and items stolen.

Police say that the house was entered through a downstairs window and a mobile telephone, cigarettes and £10 in cash taken.

The man lives on his own and police are appealing to the public for information.

Windows damaged

A number of windows in portable houses were smashed in an incident at the rear of Burnside Park, Balnamore, on Thursday of last week.

Police are treating the incident as criminal damage and want to hear from anyone who can assist with their enquiries.

Oil theft

A quantity of oil has been reported stolen from property at Swallow Court, Ballybogey sometime between Sunday of last week and last Friday - June 19 to 24.

Police say that those responsible went into an enclosed compound at the rear of a house and punctured three holes into the bottom of the oil tank.

However, because there was not enough oil in the tank, the copper piping was cut at ground level.
