Police have shut down a large cannabis factory in Lisburn.

Cannabis plants with an estimated street value of around £220,000 were seized by officers from a property at Skyline Gardens on the evening of Thursday, September 5, following a report from a member of the public.

Lisburn Area Commander Chief Inspector Darrin Jones has welcomed the seizure, “Drugs are a scourge on society and I am delighted that this sizable quantity of drugs will not now be available to dealers to distribute on our streets.
