Cannabis found in search of home
A Lurgan man was fined £315 for possession of a Class B controlled drug after police found cannabis in a search of his home.
Craigavon Magistrates Court heard last Wednesday how police officers found a small quantity of cannabis resin during a search of the home of Carl Johnathan French, 20, at Windsor Avenue Place.
The defendant told police it must have been left behind by someone who was at a party in the house the previous weekend.
He was fined £300 plus an offender levy of £15.
A destruction order was made for the drug.
