Car hijack appeal
DETECTIVES in Mahon Road are appealing for information after a report of an incident of vehicle hijacking at the Stranmore Road, Gilford on Wednesday (November 16).
Shortly after 6:40pm, it was reported that a man was threatened at a forecourt in the Moyallen Road area by three unknown males. It’s believed one of the men was armed with a suspected firearm. Two males were also in a blue Vectra in the area and are believed to have been involved. The man’s Mitsubushi Evo was taken from the scene and both vehicles made off towards the Portadown area.
