Car stolen during Cookstown burglary

Police have issued an appeal for information after a car and two televisions have been stolen during a burglary at residential premises in the Westbury Way area of Cookstown.

Inspector Irvine said: “Sometime between midnight on Saturday 1st August and 11.45pm on Saturday 15th August, it was reported that a black Audi A3 was stolen from a property along with two televisions and a number of other items.

"Entry was believed to have been gained through a side window of the house, with damaged caused during the incident. The vehicle remains outstanding at this time.

“Enquiries are continuing and we would appeal to anyone who witnessed anything suspicious in the area to contact police on 101, quoting reference number 2670 15/08/20.
