Carrick police issue appeal after shipping container goes ‘missing’ from outside church

Police in Carrickfergus are appealing for information after an 18 foot long pale blue shipping container has gone ‘missing’ from the Northland area of the town.

The container housed two cherry wood tables, two cherry wood cabinets with silver fittings on the front, two cherry wood six foot tall filing cabinets, four “Visitor” black leather chair, a large kidney shaped Cherrywood reception desk, two “Executive” black leather chairs, five Cherrywood side board units and a red and black coloured hot air blower heater.

It also contained miscellaneous office equipment and an unknown number of personal computers.

A PSNI spokesperson said: “The container is missing from Elim Church, Northland, Carrickfergus. It went missing sometime between 11am and 11.30am on March 9.”

Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101, quoting serial 652 09/03/20.
