Child involved in assault
A 12-YEAR-OLD was involved in an assault in Lurgan on New Year’s Day, it has emerged.
Police are appealing for information following an assault that occurred on William Street at approximately 2.30am on January 1.
A man was approached by three youths aged between 12 and 19 years who assaulted him and kicked him to the ground. The victim sustained facial injuries and was shocked by the ordeal. The victim was helped at the time by a number of people who were in the area at the time. According to police the assailants were not known to him.
