Police officers seized a quantity of Class B drugs during a patrol in the Shore Road area of Newtownabbey yesterday (Tuesday).

Detailing the operation, a PSNI spokesperson said: “Macedon Neighbourhood Officers out on patrol seized Class B drugs from a member of the public on the Shore Road.
“As well as preparing a prosecution file we have offered a referral for help to deal with the misuse of drugs, addiction as well as the detrimental effect they have on the quality of life for the user, their family and wider community.
“If you are suffering, please seek help.”
