Cookstown cops nab suspect burglar jumping fence
Three Cookstown police officers managed to intercept an alleged burglar after hearing an alarm and spotting a male jumping over a fence in the town.
The officers, who were on their way into work, caught and arrested the suspect and in a follow-up house search another male was detained.
According to police damage of £15,000 was caused to premises and both males will face charges arising out of the incident which happened over the weekend.
