Cookstown man denies threatening to damage house

Gavin William Lawn, 21, from Jubilee Park in Cookstown, has pleaded not guilty to three charges.

The defendant stands accused of threatening to destroy or damage a house belonging to a man on Molesworth Street

He is further charged with assaulting a male and with criminal damage to a window.

All the charges relate to incidents alleged to have taken place on June 25.

District Judge John Meehan adjourned the case until November 30 to fix a date for contest.

Mr Blaine Nugent appeared on the defendant’s behalf.
