Court appearance after drug arrests

Two men aged 68 and 50 have been charged with several offences including possession of a class B controlled drug, being concerned in the supply of a class B controlled drug and possessing criminal property.

They are both due to appear at Londonderry Magistrates Court today, Thursday, February 27.

As is normal procedure, all charges are reviewed by the PPS.

A 20-year-old man has been released on police bail pending further enquiries.

It is understood the charges are relate to the recovery of a quantity of suspected class B drugs, worth an estimated street value of £150,000, which were recovered in the Waterside on Tuesday evening.
