Kieran McLaughlin, of Elaghmore Park, is charged with the murder of Barry McCrory on October 10 last year.

At Thursday’s hearing, the Public Prosecution Service said a date for a preliminary enquiry could be set for October 30, but was ‘unlikely to be met’.

The case was adjourned until October 16 and McLaughlin was remanded in custody.
