Covid 2 notice issued to Newtownabbey business owner after alleged breach reported

Police attended a business premises in the Newtownabbey area on Saturday, November 28 after receiving a report in relation to an alleged breach of Covid-19 regulations.

Detailing the incident, a PSNI spokesperson said: “Officers spoke with the manager and explained the Covid regulations.

“The manager subsequently closed the premises and was served with a Covid 2 notice following the incident.

“We will continue to engage with people and explain what we need them to do and encourage them to follow the restrictions that are in place. Enforcement is always a last resort.”
