Creaney accused of assault
The injured party of an alleged assault is afraid of the defendant and afraid to give evidence, Craigavon Magistrates Court heard.
Stephen John Creaney of Grattan Street, Lurgan is accused of assaulting the woman on March 10 this year.
The 43 year old is denying the charge and is contesting the cast.
The court heard the reason she had been previously unable to attend was due to ‘nervousness’ and said she is afraid of the defendant.
The case is listed for contest on December 6.
