Crown court date set for Bush ABH assault accused

A man from The Bush will be arraigned for trial in the Crown Court in December.

Appearing before East Tyrone Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday past for a preliminary enquiry was James Matthew Boyd, 31, from Hawthorn Grove.

Charges of assault occasioning actual bodily harm to a female and two counts of criminal damage to a denture as well as to windows, fixtures and fittings at a house were put to the defendant.

All the charges are alleged to have taken place on March 13, 2015.

District Judge John Meehan adjourned the case for arraignment at Dungannon Crown Court on December 15.

The defendant was thereafter released on £200 bail until that date.
