Damage to Eglinton home

EXTENSIVE damage was caused to the front and back doors of a house in Eglinton on Saturday, August 18.

Police are appealing for information following the criminal damage at the house at Highmoor Road, Eglinton.

It is believed entry was not gained to the house and nothing was stolen.

As the property is located in a rural area, police are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious activity or suspicious vehicles in the area on Saturday afternoon or evening.

Across the River Foyle in an entirely separate incident two windows were smashed in a house in the Rosemount area of Londonderry in the early hours of August 19.

Police are appealing for information following the report of the disturbance at Glasgow Terrace sometime between 5am and 6am on the Sunday morning.

The PSNI received a report of a disturbance outside a house and criminal damage caused to the property. Two windows were smashed but the homeowner was not injured.
