Defective tyres
WHEN police checked the tyres of a Donaghcloney man’s car they found that all four of them were defective.
Twenty three year old Grant John Forsythe, of Dromore Road, Donaghcloney, was fined £70 on each of four charges of having a defective tyre on March 11.
A total of six penalty points were also imposed on him.
The offences came to light when he was stopped in Atkinson Avenue, Portadown.
A solicitor for the defendant said he had bought the car two days before and had not checked the insides of the tyres.
