Derelict building is set on fire

THE town centre was closed for a period last Wednesday night as fire crews were called to a fire in High Street.

Arson is suspected after a derelict outbuilding at the rear of a premises in High Street was set alight.

Police in Craigavon are appealing for information following the incident which took place at approximately 11.30pm on Wednesday night.

Police are appealing to anyone who witnessed this incident or has information in relation to it to contact them in Lurgan Police Station on 0845 600 8000.
