Derrylaughan GAC to take to the stage

EXCITEMENT is growing on the loughshore ahead of Derrylaughan GAC’s production of ‘Give My Head Pace… About Derrylaughan’ an adaptation of BBC NI’s hit series Give My Head Head Peace.

The show is produced by Brian Morgan no stranger to the stage and a man with ten years experience in writing and producing pantomimes and plays,

Brian most recently worked on Moortown GAC’s adaptation of ‘Mrs Brown’s Boys’ which was watched by a packed audience over four nights.

The production can be seen in Coalisland Parochial Centre on Friday 7th and Saturday 8th of September.

The cast all hail from Derrylaughan, including some well known local characters including Joey McLernon, John-Joe Coney and John McMahon to name just a few.

Whilst this may be their first on stage performance together, the producer Brian Morgan has said that rehearsals are going very well and that the show is not to be missed.

“I’m delighted to be working with the members of Derrylaughan GAC and I am being continuously impressed at the weekly rehearsals. I have no doubt that this will be a show for all the family to enjoy and most definitely one not to forget!”

Bronagh Carney, chairperson of Derrylaughan GAC encourages everyone to buy their tickets as soon as possible so as not to miss out on this one-off production. “Those involved in ‘Give My Head Pace… About Derrylaughan’ have been putting in a huge effort to make the show a great success,” said Bronagh.
