Drink driver apprehended in Ballyclare

A drink driver is due in court after being stopped by police officers in the Ballyclare area last night (Monday).

Detailing the incident, a PSNI spokesperson said: “Roads Policing Officers from Steeple stopped a vehicle in the Ballyclare area tonight due to erratic driving.

“The driver provided a roadside reading of 79 and later evidential sample of 61, almost twice the legal limit. This driver will now have their day in court.”
