Drink driving on a horse and trap
A 44-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of a drink-driving charge with a difference – he is accused of being drunk in charge of a horse.
A police spokesperson said: “The arrest came about after police received information that two men got into a horse and trap near a public house at Feeney shortly after 10.30pm on Sunday.
“They were stopped a short distance away and one of the men was arrested. He was later released pending further police enquiries.”
